Second-year BME graduate student was elected to be the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion co-chair of the Graduate Biomedical Engineering Society along with Taylor Marohl from the Janes lab and Bryanna Harris from the Saucerman lab.
Dr. Warren Anderson published his paper entitled “Defining data-driven primary transcript annotations with primaryTranscriptAnnotation in R” in Bioinformatics.
Dillon Lue, second-year BME student, and Zhiwen Xu, first-year Biology student were awarded the Harrison Undergraduate Research Award. This is an award given to only 40 undergraduate students around the university every year. Dillon and Zhiwen join Lisa, Rita, and Ngozi as the latest Harrison Awardees. Congratulations to all of them.
Noah Perry, who graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech, and Yonathan Aberra, who graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of California Irvine, joined the lab as PhD students.
