Second-year BME graduate student was elected to be the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion co-chair of the Graduate Biomedical Engineering Society along with Taylor Marohl from the Janes lab and Bryanna Harris from the Saucerman lab.
Dr. Qianyi Yang published her paper entitled “Transcription Factor KLF14 and Metabolic Syndrome” in Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine.

Dillon Lue, second-year BME student, and Zhiwen Xu, first-year Biology student were awarded the Harrison Undergraduate Research Award. This is an award given to only 40 undergraduate students around the university every year. Dillon and Zhiwen join Lisa, Rita, and Ngozi as the latest Harrison Awardees. Congratulations to all of them.
