Our Mission
We study how genetics and environment interact to shape the risk of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Using systems genetics, we integrate large-scale data—from gene expression and proteins to metabolites—to uncover the networks that drive disease susceptibility.
Our Approach
Our lab combines computational analysis with experiments in human and mouse populations, as well as molecular and cellular models, to identify and test key mechanisms.
Our Impact
By mapping these complex interactions, we aim to reveal new biological insights and open paths toward innovative therapies for common, complex diseases.
Funding
We are grateful to grants from the National Institutes of Health, Leducq Foundation, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, and individual donors for funding our work and contributing to the training of the next generation of scientists. You can DONATE to our lab funds to support our mission.
