Dr. Civelek is awarded the ATVB Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Recognition Award
American Heart Association’s Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (ATVB) awarded Dr. Mete Civelek with its Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Award for his mentorship of students who are underrepresented in STEM and his efforts in creating an equitable and inclusive climate in the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
