Dr. Nik Barbera joined the lab as a postdoctoral fellow. He is a biophysicist who joined our lab after finishing his PhD doing a project jointly with Dr. Irena Levitan and Dr. Belinda Akpa at the University of Illinois in Chicago. St Louis. He will work on vascular smooth muscle-related projects in the laboratory. He will be supported by the Cardiovascular Training Grant (T32HL007284) Predoctoral Fellowship.
